made.good.again

counting my blessings over this exam season:

1. my favourite brother (below 21yo category) totally brightens up my evenings - an amazing cook (has been cooking dinner and gets me to put the finishing touch - add salt, etc and generously says that we’ve prepared the dinner TOGETHER) and fun dinner company (he’s quite funny and I’m quite funny so it’s like doubly fun).

2. going through three shoeboxes filled with cards and letters that OCFers past and present have written to me and getting inspired and encouraged all over again from how much these people loved and believed in me, like they can see God’s Word echoing through my life…even before I saw it.

3. an email from my OCF twin sister (born 2 days apart) who’s in Singapore right now… praying for my exams (as she would each semester, an annual tradition since our days of studying in College Square together)…

4. inspired by a poem that a dear friend wrote, how each day we are becoming a woman of grace though facing a tough world…

5. seeing God work in a friend’s family…

6. music practice for returnees’ nite!!

7. diagnosing depression in a patient while chatting with him (hadn’t been picked up by the doctors)… and made a difference in his life? maybe…

8. catchup session and praying with my beloved mentee…

9. continuous supply of Pods chocolate (energy supply while studying) by my fav peoples…

10. best friend coming over to cook me lunch before she leaves for her mission trip tomorrow night! she inspired me to see God’s heart for the nations and has showed me what love in action really is, how I thank God for her!
